Summer’s here! And it finally feels like we can start to relax a bit and enjoy the freedom of these longer days.
Personally, I will fully relax when these Covid numbers stay low through the fall and my kids can get a vaccine. For now, I’ll take my mask off around fully vaccinated people–and that includes at the salon. It’s been wonderful to see everyone’s faces and smiles–and don’t get me started on how exciting it is to see where people’s cheekbones are! And those nose bridges! And mouth shapes! Seeing your lovely faces helps me give you the best style possible, not to mention the joy of seeing those smiles again.
Despite all the joy, I still feel like we’re all still processing the huge toll the pandemic has taken on us. As we reemerge, let’s keep caring about each other’s health–I’m especially sensitive to those of you who, like me, still have unvaccinated kids at home. So please, reschedule if you are sick and know I will do the same. And If you or someone you know are getting over something, or feel like you’re about to succumb, please wear a mask. I will, too.
Speaking of family life, spending time with mine and helping my kids become responsible human beings continues to be important to me. As such, my schedule will be changing to Monday-Saturday, 9am-2pm and the studio will be closed from June 26-July 10 for a little summer break. If you’re thinking of a new look for fall, make sure to book now!
Finally, our usual health and safety protocol update–because we’re still keeping track!
Vaccinated? Hurray! You made it! Show us proof of vaccination and you won’t need to wear your mask at the studio. We’ll make a note in your file so you’ll only have to share this once. Your vaccination card or a photo of it will suffice, if you text or email we will delete the file after verifying it.
And drink up! Beverages are back for fully vaccinated people.
All non vaccinated clients will need to keep their masks on.
As always, we’ll update the rules based on CDC guidelines keep you informed.
